We are committed to open government and improving practices around the proactive release and publishing of official information.
We are strengthening access to official information by publishing responses to Official Information Act (OIA) requests of the Crown Response Office that are of public interest.
The Official Information Act 1982 (or OIA) enables people in Aotearoa New Zealand to make requests for official information held by government agencies. This includes the Crown Response Office.
We release a wide range of information to help and inform you. This includes Cabinet papers and minutes about the Government’s decisions on the Crown Response to the Abuse in Care Royal Commission of Inquiry.
